visit to midgic farm

went with luke and maddie to midgic farm on luke's last day in sackville.  we had a great time getting in touch with our inner horses and taking in some goat themed spiritual advisory. in all it seemed like a failed endeavor, but i took these pictures.

montreal field trip

i have accompanied my man to his new home of montreal to get him settled into the city i love so much, before i head back to the sack to start my third year. we've had a busy trip and only a few days to act like tourists. while out and about we had some great meals, some not so grate meals and a lot of strange encounters with the local population.

my preferred metro station for sight seeing. st laurant  metro is close to china town and its easy to catch a bus up to mile end for breakfast and a stop at drawn and quarterly.

china town in montreal is a blast if you can avoid peak tourist hours. don't be afraid to poke your nose in every door. people are usually very kind, for a price.

we finish with a shot of a GREAT chinese buffet. we didn't make it in this day because we went to sumo ramen instead. NOT WORTH IT! lousy ramen for ten bucks a bowl. booo! next time we be less stupid and go for dim sum. for now thats all on montreal.  

bad ass mars book

 - i purchased this book in a basement at a university book sale. it has great illustrations and great design. in other space related news, does anyone remember when NASA bombed the moon? i'm not sure how i feel about that one. i think it would come out to equal parts upset and enthusiastic about any and all large explosions. i'm worried this stance makes me a bad citizen of the cosmos.
